Brief Profile

Raymondi graduated from UCT in 2004

(BSc Speech Therapy). She has worked at Red Cross Children's Hospital (babies to school aged children), Conradie Care Centre (for adults with strokes and head injuries).

 

She now works for a private practice where she treats all ages from babies, young children; school aged children, teenagers, adults, to the aged, all with speech, language and communication difficulties.

 

She is a mother of two with a daughter in grade 1 and son in grade 2.

The Parent Centre is a registered Non-Profit Organisation which has been operating successfully in the challenging South African context for the past 30 years.

 

We provide a range of primary preventive services for parents and caregivers seeking the support and help they need before problems in their parent/caregiver-child relationship or child’s behavior becomes entrenched.

In addition to her husband and sons, Madeleine’s passion is education. Madeleine has studied Communication and Psychology and has 15 years experience in corporate training from basic life skills to management training.

Dr Anthony Costandius graduated from the University of Stellenbosch with a B.A. and B.A. (Hons), HDE and MA (Counselling Psychology). He then attained a Ph.D. in Child Psychology from the University of the Free State.

 

Anthony founded the Promed Child and Family Unit, Durbanville, in 1995 and has since been practicing there as a Counselling Psychologist, dealing mainly with individual and child issues - typically Anxiety, Depression and Loss. He also sees couples and children with learning and concentration difficulties, offering support and guidance to both parents and the children.
